Join us for the first ever wildwater race on the Green River this Saturday. class II-III

Here's the schedule:

9:00 am: meet at Kanasket-Palmer State Park
9:15-9:30 Begin sprint runs from the upper put in at the park through
Ledge #1 and down to the bottom take out.

11:00 finish sprint training.

Lunch

1:00 pm Racer's meeting for classic race.
1:30 race start. Note: there has been some lobbying for the race to start later - maybe 3:00pm. No final decision has been made. If you would like to race, e-mail back to let us know to keep you in the loop and state your prefersnce. We'll make a decision by Friday. for more info, contact Tom Wier

Distance of classic: From highest put in below dam at the Headworks to bottom of KP state park is approx 30 min.

The Annual Green River Clean-up is also this Saturday, which means sufficient flows. I've heard it's not that crowded on the river, either.
